Personal Approach and Experience
Working in pastoral care inspired my interest in counselling. I had the opportunity to return to study as a mature student and over a six year period achieved a Diploma (Distinction) in Humanistic Gestalt Counselling (2016) and a BA (Hons) (First Class) in Humanistic Integrative Counselling (2018). I have been practising since qualifying in 2016 and have been enjoying working in private practice since 2018. I qualified as a Clinical Supervisor in 2025 and am now focussing on my Supervision practice.
As a fully qualified Counsellor, I was working from 2016 until 2025 with adults (18+) who presented with a range of issues including abuse, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, loss and bereavement, stress, and issues in the workplace. I now focus on offering Supervision online via Zoom.
