Frequently asked questions
What if I need a bit more information before booking?
Please do contact me either by email, phone call or text and I will respond to you promptly. If you would prefer, we can arrange a convenient time for us to talk, and I can then answer any questions you might have.
How often are the sessions?
Sessions are usually held weekly, on the same day and time and this does provide continuity. However, for those with young families or who work irregular hours, this may not be practical so together we can agree a more flexible schedule for sessions which works best for you.
How many sessions will I need?
Between 6 and 12 counselling sessions are usual, however, you may decide fewer sessions are better for you or indeed you may feel comfortable with more. You will probably know when ending therapy feels right for you, and the decision to end counselling is always yours. As that time approaches, we will work together to help you feel more confident in managing life’s future demands.
How much will sessions cost?
Counselling sessions last for 50 minutes and are charged at £45 per session. Payment can be made by bank transfer.
When are sessions available?
Daytime and evening session are available. Please contact me for specific availability.
What happens if I am unable to make a session?
Please contact me as soon as possible and I will try to re-schedule another session. Please note that 24 hours notice of cancellation is required. Sessions cancelled without 24 hours notice will incur the full session fee.
