ABOUT COUNSELLING

Counselling helps us to understand why we think, feel and behave the way we do. I offer a safe, confidential and supportive environment so together we can discuss any issues you are finding difficult and explore ways of managing them which feel more comfortable.

The initial complimentary session involves gathering information, touches on what brought you to counselling and how you would like the process to support and help you. Subsequent sessions last 50 minutes and the focus of those sessions is determined by you, the client.  

I believe we each have unique needs and as an Integrative Counsellor, I am able to draw from a range of counselling approaches to best suit the needs of each client. However, I view therapy as a collaborative process where working together at a pace you are comfortable with, we can explore your situation, raise awareness around any issues you may be currently facing, as well as working through any historic, unresolved issues which still impact your life and well-being today.

You will know when it feels right for you to end counselling, and as that time approaches, we will work together to help you feel more confident in your ability to manage life's future demands.
